Prime Minister Boris Johnson has confirmed that restaurants, pubs, and cafes can reopen for outdoor dining in England no earlier than 12 April. This is great news for our customers who will be welcomed back in our new improved garden area. You will find some 6 seater benches with roofs as well as a pergola (The Hay Shed) covering an alfresco dining area with patio heaters.
The weather may be inclement so best to wrap up warm. We will be open 12-9pm 7 days Our dining menu will be available 12-7pm from the 12th April onwards, until we can open indoors., at which point our opening hours will extend back to normal. Lets keep our fingers crossed for warm weather. Due to limited space we wont be able to reserve tables but there is plenty of space for the brave!

Heartbreaking to see that your latest blog update is from March 2021. Friends, there appears to be cobwebs all over your site. I am passionately aware that our communities' restaurateurs and hoteliers have been through the mill. But if you want us (your community) to return and embrace you, it will be necessary for you to show us that you're opening your arms to welcome us back and keep us informed. Not sure if we're ready to come back (yet) until we see indicators that show we're wanted and there are fresh ideas and dishes to entice us. Fingers crossed from former extremely loyal customer.
Really sad about , what was out regular local. Lager is crap. Service mediocre. That's the last of Friday street for me. Got a meal on Friday to try that but that's it. I bloody loved this pub....
Are you taking bookings? I read in your blog no reservations but some people have said online they’ve booked???
Just tried to book a table for Friday 16th April and received confirmation from tge Red Lyon!!!!???? Is there a problem with Friday street booking???
We will be there 👍😊😊😊
